If you are experiencing a crisis during business hours (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.):

Contact the Joel Porter Counseling Center or come to our office and make it clear that you are in crisis.  Every effort will be made to respond as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts/actions or have a plan to harm yourself:

Immediately contact Campus Safety.

If you are experiencing another type of psychological emergency (emotional crisis) after office hours or on weekends:

Immediately contact Campus Safety or a member of the Residence Life & Housing Staff.
